TSOBGUE Prosper
He is a US Government exchange program alumnus of the 2017 TEA Spring cohort from the University of California, Chico. He is a language (French and English) teacher in GBHS MOMBO, moungo division and the financial secretary of Cameroon Fulbright TEA Alumni Association.
Gerald A Kwake
He is a US Government exchange program alumnus of the 2016 TEA Spring program from the University of Winthrop in South Carolina, USA. He was a biology teacher in GBHS Mendong, Yaounde and a middle school science teacher in Saluda Trail Middle School, Rock Hill, SC.
Akaba A. James
He is a US Government Exchange program alumnus of the 2016 TEA Spring program at the University of Winthrop in South Carolina, USA. He is a Physics teacher in GBHS Bamenda and a 2018 International ACAC Scholar. James is the Media Relations Officer of the Cameroon Fulbright TEA Alumni Association. He also serves as the Country Director of Open Dreams, Cameroon, a non-profit with a mission to equalize access to educational opportunities for community impact
TAMBE NCHINGHE AKO
TAMBE NCHINGHE AKO is a 2017 TEA Spring alumnus from Bowling Green State University, Ohio, USA. He is an English Language teacher and a GCE Examiner. Ako Tambe is a Vice Principal in GBHS -Sultan Ibrahim NJOYA, FOUMBAN. He is the Secretary General of Blue Sky Africa, an organisation of physically challenged civil servants in Cameroon. He is also the Projects Coordinator of Cameroon Fulbright TEA Alumni Association.
Forbang E. Tembu
He is a Fulbright TEA fellow (Fall 2021) from the Appalachian State University, Boone, North Carolina, USA, and presently teachers Chemistry at GBHS Etoug Ebe, Yaoundé. He is also a member of the World Changers Association, a Christian organization with vision to raise a new generation of leaders and empower youths to live up to their potential and is vice president of the Yaoundé Branch of the same association. He also works with a number of organizations as a freelance science editor.
Robert KENFACK
He is a US Government exchange program alumnus of the 2020 Fulbright TEA Spring program from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, USA. He is an active member of the Cameroon Fulbright TEA Alumni Association, a certified English Language trainer for the British Council English Connects project in Cameroon and a teacher of English/French Languages at GBPHS Yaoundé.
JAFSIA ELISEE
JAFSIA Elisee is a 2022 Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement (FTEA) fall program alumnus from the University of Nevada, Reno. He completed his Master of Science in Physics at the University of Yaounde I and a DIPES II at the Higher Teacher’s Training College of Yaoundé.
He is actually a Physics teacher at Government Bilingual High School Pintchoumba, North Cameroon. He advocates for the adaptation of educational technologies in low-resource settings. He is also a Mentor for the UK based non-profit Open Life Science (OLS) and Coordinator at MboaLab for the US based Tech program OUTREACHY for minorities and underrepresented groups in Tech. Since December 2022, JAFSIA is a member of the Black in AI community.
Mercy FAI LEMNYUY
She is a US Government exchange program alumna of the 2014 TEA Spring program from Winthrop University in South Carolina, USA. She is also a Ph.D. research fellow with interest in inclusive education at the University of Bamberg, Germany; Vice-Principal and Chemistry teacher at PCSS Azire-Bamenda. She is the treasurer of the Cameroon Fulbright TEA Alumni Association.
Loveline Mbu Chiaga
Loveline Mbu Chiaga, a Fall 2022 alumna of the Fulbright TEA program, University of Arkansas, USA.
She is a professional High School teacher of English and French as Second Languages at GHS Bolifamba, Buea. Loveline is also a freelance Translator from ASTI, University of Buea, she is an artisan and an entrepreneur. She is the founder and promoter of the Beads Craft Club in schools, whose mission is to empower secondary school students in craftwork, especially beading, and to equip them with essential entrepreneurial skills in life.
Loveline is also the co-founder and president of the Centre for Inclusive Education and Sustainable Development (CIESD), a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the Sustainable Development Goals through education.
Loveline is passionate about educational technology and has obtained numerous certifications in the use of ed-tech tools in education. She also provides online and in-person training for teachers and students on the use of diverse educational resources.
Yiviri Rasifatu
Yiviri Rasifatu is a teacher of English as a Second Language, English as a Foreign Language and Literature in English in Government Bilingual High School Obala. She has been teaching for 10 years. Yiviri is currently in the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, USA, as a Fulbright TEA participant of the 2023 spring cohort. She is a PhD candidate in the University of Yaounde I with special interest in Language Assessment. She hopes to gain new knowledge on Instructional Technologies, new teaching méthodologies and also learn some best practices from the host University and other teacher leaders participating in the program. She hopes to cascade the new knowledge with colleagues upon her return to Cameroon.
Forgwe Fabiola Njweng
Forgwe Fabiola Njweng is a US Government exchange program alumnus of the 2019 TEA program from the Claremont Graduate University of Southern California, USA. She is an Accounting Teacher in Government Technical High School Bamenda- North West region in the heart of the Anglophone Crisis where she advocates for inclusive education and equal opportunities for boys and girls and encourages more young girls to join STEM fields. Fabiola also carries out volunteer work in her local community as Education and advocacy Lead through Teagan alternatives a local initiative that provides holistic responses to violent extremism that underscore the critical importance of education, human rights and community action. Through her work, she has helped a lot of young people stay and excel in school through advocacy and mentorship.
Atem Arabella
She is a US Government Exchange program alumna of the 2019 FTEA program of the University of Nevada, USA, an English language/ Literature in English teacher at GHS Batoke. She is also a social entrepreneur and the founder of Education and Health for All Foundation(EHAF), aimed at providing Quality Education via training women and the youth on vocational programs and economic empowerment and entrepreneurship, and connecting women to easy health access, promoting social inclusion, gender equality, women in leadership and governace as priority areas. Committed to the goals and objectives of her organization, Arabella has carried out a series of community actions, partnering with organization such as Telcar Cocoa Limited, Cargill Cocoa and Chocolate, and Lady Agri, besides several other programs with CAFTAL
Ndifor Richard M
Richard is a US Government exchange program alumnus of the 2016 TEA Spring program from George Mason University, USA as well as the fulbright foreign student program at University of Central Florida in Orlando. He is head of the history department in GHS Buea. Richard is a community organizer and a strong advocate for quality and equitable education. He is the Secretary General of the Bamendankwe Development and Cultural Association. He also serves as Director of Education for Health and Education for all International, Cameroon, a non-profit with mission to equalize access to educational opportunities for underserved communities In Africa.
Sam CANISIUS ASIMBONG
Sam CANISIUS ASIMBONG is a 2017 Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement (FTEA) spring program alumnus from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, United States. Sam is President of Cameroon Fulbright TEA Alumni Association. He is a Mathematics teacher at Government Bilingual High School NYALLA, Douala since 2006 and a passionate promoter of integrating ICT in education, Combating sexual violence in Secondary Schools. Sam is the Founder and CEO of Vision for Peace Cameroon, an NGO which provides basic necessities to disadvantaged children, empowers the underprivileged in education, promotes sustainable agriculture and good health. He is the current President of the Cameroon Fulbright TEA Alumni Association (2021-2023)
Tabot Delphine
Tabot Delphine is a 2022 Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement (FTEA) Fellow at the University of Nevada, Reno. Till her recent appointment as the Regional Pedagogic Inspector for Chemistry for the Centre, Delphine was a science teacher at Government Bilingual Practicing High School Yaounde. She is passionate about passing science-related knowledge to her learners while making them discover and nurtute their respective abilities; she is passionate about driving forward young girls and the underprivileged towards STEM/STEAM Education, mentoring them towards the 21st century next generation scientist She is the co-ordinator of Oasis Online Academy, a non-governmental organization, seeking to use Online learning to break the barrier in the teaching and learning process. Her hobbies are Singing, traveling, meeting and making new friends
Nvenankeng Epse Sanyi Cynthia Leke
She is a 2018 Fulbright TEA program alumna. A High School teacher of English Language and Literature in English at Government Bilingual Practising High School, GPBPHS Yaoundé, Cynthia attended Bowling Green State University, Ohio for her TEA program in Spring of 2018. Cynthia currently serves as the Head of the Department of English and Literature in English at GBPHS Yaoundé and pilots a number of activities that contribute to professional development of her colleagues. With a strong passion for improving academic achievement of learners and gender inclusiveness in classrooms, Cynthia is also a teacher trainer committed to helping teacher trainees to imbibe professional ethics and standards of practice in teaching. She is passionate about the use of technology in teaching and learning, and currently develops and delivers online lessons as part of an online instruction program instituted by the Ministry of Secondary Education. Cynthia believes in volunteering and supports a number of NGOs leading programs for the development of adolescents and young people.
Nanje Patrick
Nanje Patrick is a teacher of Physics for over a decade now at G.H.S. Great Soppo, Buea and the founder of Science Education Centre Buea. Patrick is currently in the Florida Gulf Coast University, Fort Myers, U.S.A, as a 2023 Fulbright TEA Fellow, spring cohort. He is a PhD candidate at the University of Buea Department of Physics, specializing in research in renewable and sustainable energy sources particularly, wind energy. His main objectives for participating in Fulbright TEA Program is to:
• learn from the best educational system in the world and witness first-hand how they carry out Competency Based Approach (CBA) in teaching; an approach which went operational in his country just some years back and which poses a lot of challenges in teaching especially in the sciences;
• learn more on the use of Information Technology in teaching,
• learn new methodologies in project-based teaching and learning, STEM Education etc. This knowledge will be used to educate both teachers and students in modern methods of teaching and learning
Philip NTETA N.
Philip NTETA is a Fulbright Scholar at Arizona State University, USA. Before his Fulbright engagement, he was serving with the Ministry of Secondary Education in Cameroon as a Physics Educator and the Acting Vice Principal at GBHS Bandounga in the West Region. Within his 18 years of service in education, he has impacted several learners, his colleagues, and the broader public through publications, training programs, and community actions. He has coordinated funded projects on Inclusive Education Initiative, Environmental and STEM Education, Combating School-based Violence, and Safety from COVID-19 in secondary schools across the country, with a huge impact on several communities.
Philip is a 2015 Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) program alumnus of Appalachian State University in North Carolina, USA. He served as the pioneer president of the Cameroon Fulbright TEA Alumni Association, from July 2017 to August 2021, and contributed enormously to making the organization an outstanding US government exchange program alumni network in the country. He is also an alumnus of the 2018 International High School Teacher program from CERN in Switzerland, currently a member of the Board of Directors of Local Youths Corner Cameroon which is a youth-led international non-profit with a goal to empower them in leadership, and one of the three executive officers of the Fulbright International Students Association at Arizona State University.
NDOLO ETOMENONGENE Lydia
NDOLO ETOMENONGENE Lydia is a US Government exchange program alumnus of the 2022 Fulbright TEA Fall program from Georgia State University, Atlanta, USA. She is a holder of BSc Microbiology from the University of Buea, Degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Maroua and DIPES I in Mathematics from ENS Maroua. She is a Mathematics teacher since 2015 and presently at Government Bilingual High School Deido, Douala and a GCE Examiner for Pure Mathematics and Mechanics Advanced Level. She is a member of the Cameroon Fulbright TEA Alumni(CAFTAL ), Coordinator of the Female Student School Club in her school, Co- founder and Treasurer of the Center for Inclusive Education and Sustainable Development (CIESD) and member of Love and Help Foundation for the orphans and less privileged. She hopes to learn and develop more skills, technologies and methods to teach Mathematics real and differently, to promote, STEM, Gender equity, Education and Sustainable Development in all domains among teachers, learners and the society.
